Introduction

What Perspective AI is, how the platform and the $POV token fit together, and where to read more.

Perspective AI puts the top AI models and community-built agents in one place. You can switch between them, compare them side by side, combine them in a single conversation, and own what you build on top. No infrastructure, no command line, no crypto knowledge required.

That friendly surface sits on top of something larger: a private, user-owned AI network designed so that usage is the engine and the $POV token is the coordinator. Why that matters — and why it can't come from the incumbents — is the subject of the Vision. These docs cover how it works underneath: what you pay for, what the network rewards, and how the token connects the two.

How the platform and the token fit together

Everything on the platform is credit-gated — inference, agents, previews — with credits shown in stable, dollar-legible terms and settled in $POV underneath. Real revenue buys $POV on the open market and burns it, so against a fixed supply, growth in usage tightens supply permanently. Emissions are gated by real demand rather than a calendar, subsidising the early network and then decaying as revenue takes over.

The token is not the product. Network usage is the product. The token captures value from that usage and coordinates the people who supply it.

It all points at a single line crossing: the moment revenue-funded buyback covers what emissions subsidise, the network sustains itself without the subsidy. That crossing is the primary KPI of the tokenomics, and every other mechanism exists to reach it.
